# How to buy $CLOUD

> Step-by-step: set up a wallet for Robinhood Chain, fund it, open the CLOUD swap on Uniswap v4, verify the contract address, and trade. Takes a few minutes.

Buying CLOUD takes three steps. Budget a few minutes the first time.

## 1. Get a wallet that works with Robinhood Chain

Use an EVM-compatible wallet and add the Robinhood Chain network. Take the network details from Robinhood's official documentation, not from a third-party page or a DM. Keep your seed phrase offline.

## 2. Fund it on Robinhood Chain

You need funds on Robinhood Chain to trade and a small amount extra for network fees. Because the CLOUD pool is quoted in tokenized $NET, the swap interface will handle routing from whatever you hold into $NET and then into CLOUD where a route exists.

## 3. Open the swap and verify the address

1. Open [the CLOUD swap on Uniswap](https://app.uniswap.org/swap/?chain=robinhood&outputCurrency=0x4ad6f2f349b8031dc09145f2d2c4bbd1852a1e18). The chain is pre-set to Robinhood and the output token is pre-filled.
2. Check that the output token's contract address is exactly:

   `0x4ad6f2f349b8031dc09145f2d2c4bbd1852a1e18`

3. Pick an amount, review the fee, and confirm.
