Robinhood Chain

What Robinhood Chain is, why it was built for tokenized stocks, and why CLOUD, the $NET meme token, lives there. Includes how to trade on Robinhood Chain with Uniswap.

Robinhood Chain is the blockchain built by Robinhood, the brokerage, to bring tokenized stocks and other real-world assets onchain. It is a Layer 2 network built on Arbitrum technology, which means it settles to Ethereum while keeping transactions fast and cheap enough for everyday trading.

For CLOUD it matters for one reason above all: it is where tokenized $NET exists, so it is the only place a $NET-paired meme token can live.

Why Robinhood Chain exists

Robinhood built the chain so that exposure to stocks could move like crypto: held in a wallet, transferred peer to peer, traded around the clock, and composed into onchain applications. Tokenized stocks are the headline use case, and meme tokens paired against those stocks are the first native culture to grow on top of them.

What runs on it

CLOUD on Robinhood Chain

CLOUD was among the early meme tokens launched into the stock/token meta on Robinhood Chain, and it is positioned as the flagship token for the Cloudflare community there.

Trading on Robinhood Chain

  1. Use an EVM wallet and add the Robinhood Chain network. Follow Robinhood's own documentation for the current network details rather than copying them from a third party.
  2. Fund the wallet on Robinhood Chain.
  3. Open the CLOUD swap on Uniswap. The chain and the output token are pre-selected.
  4. Confirm the contract address matches the one above before swapping.

Relationship to Robinhood

CLOUD is an independent community token. It is not created, endorsed, or operated by Robinhood. Robinhood Chain is public infrastructure; CLOUD is one of the things people have built on it.
